The Ouija Board is a small instrument used for medianic communication, developed in the mid of 19th century A.D. which became famous in the mid of 20th century A.D.
Its working is neither given for sure nor reliable, but relating to what its users say it is based on the fact that one of the séance participants as either latent or declared medium abilities.
Practically speaking there's a blackboard with either carved or printed numbers and letters. On this blackboard an upside down glass or an arrow-shaped stone (or crystal) is put.
People put a finger on this reading object (the glass or other object) and ask the Spirit, they want to talk with, a question.
If this Spirit decides to answer the question, It uses the medium to move the reading object on various letters and numbers, so composing the answer sentence.
You're absolutely advised not to use this practice, since it open a communication channel with the Spirit world and You can't give for sure the self-declaring medium is able to close it.
